His strength is manifested in our weakness … “his power is made perfect in weakness” is a common theme in Christianity, often referencing 2 Corinthians 12:9.
It suggests that God’s strength and power are most evident when people are vulnerable and rely on Him. In essence, it means that when we acknowledge our limitations and depend on God’s grace, His power is fully revealed and experienced.
Sometimes I wonder why He still chooses me.
Why He continues to cover me in mercy, even when I fall short.
The answer? Because His love isn’t earned—it’s given.
His mercy isn’t a reward—it’s a reflection of His character.
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’”— 2 Corinthians 12:9
This verse reminds us: We don’t need to be strong, we need to be surrendered. God isn’t looking for perfection—He’s looking for dependence. He meets us at the end of ourselves and says, “Now, watch what I can do through your weakness.”
So when you feel undeserving, remember—His grace was never about worthiness.
It was always about love.
