Feeling like life was better back then? Wondering why the present feels so heavy?
Romans 8:18–25 reminds us: present sufferings are nothing compared to the glory to come. Hold on. Be patient. This is just a season. Trust and obey—glory awaits.
Do you ever catch yourself longing for the days when life didn’t feel this heavy? When burdens seemed lighter, and joy felt closer at hand? It’s easy to believe that where you are now is the worst place to be—stuck in the weight of circumstances that feel unending.
But Romans 8:18–25 whispers a greater truth: “Our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” What you see now, what you feel now, is not the end of your story. The ache, the turbulence, the confusion—they are not permanent.
This is where patience and faith meet. Patience to endure the season you’re in, and faith to anchor your hope in the One who holds the future. Because seasons do change. What feels unbearable today will one day be overshadowed by glory.
So don’t lose heart. Trust that even in the chaos, God is at work. Believe that something ahead is worth the wait. And remember this: a crown of glory awaits those who keep trusting, keep obeying, and keep walking—one step at a time—toward the promise of God’s unfailing plan.
