Let’s talk—honestly.
You woke up today already tired.
You poured the coffee, put on the smile, and showed up—at work, at church, for your family.
But behind the “I’m okay,” there’s a quiet thought echoing:
“God, how do You still want me?”
You’ve prayed.
You’ve tried.
You’ve grown.
But that one weakness? It’s still there.
That habit? That hidden battle?
Still knocking. Still tempting.
And the guilt? Oh, it still knows how to whisper.
You’re not alone.
Even Paul—the same Paul who was shipwrecked, stoned, and still stood preaching—called himself “wretched.”
What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!”— Romans 7:24–25
This wasn’t a spiritual meltdown. It was a moment of truthful maturity. He wasn’t a baby Christian. He had spiritual scars. He had seen miracles. He had encountered Jesus. And still, he struggled. So if you’re walking with God and still wrestling… If you have days where you feel like you’ve taken two steps forward, then three steps back…
Welcome….That’s what a real walk of faith looks like: grace in motion. God didn’t wait for us to get our lives together. He didn’t say, “Fix yourself, then I’ll come.” No.
“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
He came into our mess. He stepped into our humanity—our habits, heartbreak, and hidden shame. That’s not just salvation. That’s beautiful, scandalous grace.
So today, I’m not giving you a spiritual checklist. I’m offering you a lifeline. Reach for Him. He already knows the wretched parts of you. And He’s not intimidated. He came to rescue you through them. Let that sink in!
You are not saved because you’re strong.
You’re saved because He is.
