What is your safe place?
My safe place is in the presence of God—where fear fades, peace flows, and strength is renewed. When the world gets loud, confusing, or heavy, I run to Him.
Not a physical place, but a spiritual one—found in prayer, in worship, in His Word.
That’s where I find rest, healing, and clarity. Because God isn’t just a place I visit in trouble—He’s my dwelling place.
He’s my refuge, my anchor, and my hiding place.
“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.”— Psalm 32:7
So, my safe place is wherever God is—and He is always near.
What about your physical safe place?
It’s that quiet corner where my heart can breathe—often a specific space that brings peace, stillness, and helps me reconnect with God. For some, it might be:
- A prayer closet or private room
- A peaceful spot in nature—a bench, a park, a beach
- A cozy corner of the home, lit by soft light, filled with Scripture and stillness
Wherever it is, it’s less about the location and more about what happens there: A place to pause. To pray. To release. To be reminded that God is near. If Jesus needed a physical place to retreat, so do we. So where is my physical safe place? Anywhere I can shut the door on the noise and open my heart to God.

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”— Luke 5:16
