Quiet Times with God

What do you do in the times that God is quiet?

God only requires that you reverence Him: thank Him for what he has done and praise Him for who He is.

Draw Him close as though it is all that you have … draw Him close and mediate on His word!

When you move closer to Him when you have nothing, you’ve simply said to Him, through tough times and through the good times, I’ll choose You, God!

There are seasons when heaven seems silent—when prayers feel like they echo back unanswered and the presence of God feels distant. But silence doesn’t mean absence.

In the quiet, God is still working. In the stillness, He’s still speaking—just softer.

What do you do when God is quiet?

You reverence Him.
You thank Him for what He has done.
You praise Him for who He is—because even if nothing changes, He is still worthy.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”James 4:8

In the quiet, lean in. Whisper worship. Meditate on His Word. Speak His promises back to Him.

It’s in those moments that your soul declares:

“Even without answers, I choose You.”

This kind of faith moves the heart of God.

Because when you pursue Him with nothing—no breakthroughs, no signs, no noise—what you offer is pure devotion.

Quiet doesn’t mean forgotten.

It just means He’s drawing you into deeper trust.
